Application for the entry-exit permit of the People's Republic of China
Acceptance Conditions
When any of the following conditions is met, the applicant should be approved: Hong Kong and Macao residents who apply for the entry-exit permit because their relevant certificates are lost, damaged, or stolen or have expired. Minors who apply for the entry-exit permit due to conflict of the nationality. Foreigners inside China whose passport or other international travel documents are lost, damaged, or stolen or have expired and cannot be reissued for objective reasons.
Online Procedure
1. Application. The applicant should access the "Shenzhen Public Security" WeChat public service account of Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau, fill out relevant information as required, select the acceptance time, and apply for an appointment.
2. Review. The system automatically reviews the information. If the application passes the review, the applicant will receive an SMS with the appointment number, indicating that the appointment is successful. The applicant should submit the application materials to Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau (4016 Jiefang Road, Luohu District) according to the appointment time. If the application fails the review, the applicant will receive an SMS indicating the reason for failure.
3. Acceptance. The application materials are verified and the application is accepted or rejected immediately. The acceptance personnel will verify the application materials and make an acceptance decision immediately. If the applicant meets the application requirements and has submitted complete and valid application materials in standard format, the acceptance personnel should accept the application and issue a "Receipt of Acceptance". Otherwise, the acceptance personnel should reject the application and issue a Notification for Application Rejection. If the applicant's materials do not meet the requirements but can be corrected on the spot, the acceptance personnel can accept the application after relevant materials are corrected.
4. Review. After the application is accepted, the reviewers will review the materials, make a review decision within one business day, and forward the preliminary examination opinions together with the application materials to Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau for approval.
5. Approval. Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau will make an approval decision within one business day. If the applicant meets relevant requirement, the permit will be prepared.
6. Conclusion. After the application is approved, Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau will issue the Entry-Exit Permit of the People's Republic of China stamped with the seal of the implementing authority within one business day. If the application is rejected, Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau will issue a Decision of Rejection.
