Luohu holds workers’ skills contests to stimulate innovation
Luohu District recently held the 11th workers’ skills contest, as this year marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of the national reform on the construction of the industrial workers’ team.
The contest consisted of a total of 13 events for jewelry designers, building information modeling technicians, elderly care workers, chefs, and couriers, among others.
The competition focused on the characteristics of Luohu’s industries, the needs of industrial workers, and strategies for industrial development rolled out by the district government.
The Luohu Federation of Trade Unions will also focus on Luohu’s gold and jewelry industry and actively encourages people to be innovative so as to give a full play to the practitioners’ wisdom and talents in developing Luohu’s industries.
The contest was last held in 2019, attracting the participation of nearly 50,000 workers from around 1,100 enterprises in the district.
The event was co-hosted by the Luohu District government and the Luohu Federation of Trade Unions.
