Luohu eyes opportunities in Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation
The Luohu district government has recently issued an action program outlining measures to promote the high-quality development of modern industries from this year until 2025.
According to the document, the district will carry out 29 action plans to support implementing 87 big projects over the four years.
In the document, Luohu puts forward its overall objective that by putting the program into practice, the district should form a first-class rule-of-law and internationalized business environment. Luohu must respect market laws to attract more projects of the 28+9 industrial clusters earmarked by the Shenzhen authorities.
In other words, the document has drawn a clear timetable and roadmap for Luohu to build itself into a pioneer exploring the sustainable development of socialist modernization.
The document shows that Luohu is planning to improve the business environment and promote the high-quality development of modern industries. It also attaches great significance to promoting the integrated development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, through which Luohu thinks it can provide a better benchmark for its investment and trade rules aligning with international conventions and standards.
In doing so, Luohu looks forward to forming an open and new economic platform and institution framework with its own characteristics, which can help it effectively make use of the opportunities appearing in Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation.
