Precaution averts flooding perils in Luohu
The approaching annual rainy season has prompted Luohu to take some precautionary measures to protect the lives of its citizens.
For example, the Luohu branch of Shenzhen transportation bureau installed warning signs beside the roads that are likely to be waterlogged in heavy rains across the district. Furthermore, pedestrians and drivers are urged to raise their vigilance about the risks associated with city floods, such as electric leakage, drowning, and missing sink lids.
It is better to err on the side of caution. That is the message from the government.
