Luohu has recently issued an action program outlining the measures it will take to improve the district’s business environment and support the high-quality development of its modern industries from 2022 to 2025.
According to the document, the district authorities will roll out 29 action plans and focus on developing 87 key projects to form a law-based, market-oriented and internationalized business environment to attract more investment and projects for its 20 strategic emerging industries and eight future industries.
The program also laid out plans to promote the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, advance medical innovation, set up funds for specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, and strengthen rule of law.
 
The persons in charge of the 26 district government departments are responsible for ensuring the action program is adequately implemented under the framework of their respective departments. The results of this work will be included in the criteria used to assess these departments’ performances in promoting high-quality development.
