A ceremony unveiling the nameplate of the Center for Building Civilization in the New Era in Luohu was held in the Honghu Lake Park on June 16.
The center covers an overall area of 320,000 square meters and includes an art gallery and a library.
The Luohu authorities have paid much attention to cultural advancement in recent years. Many public cultural service stations have been built across the district for the convenience of the residents.
After the center is built, the district will hold a series of cultural activities to help cultivate social morality. It will also explore other ways to promote civilization advancement and contribute to Shenzhen’s competition for the honorary title of a national civilized city.
