Cultural activity deepens expats’ understanding of China
The Guiyuan sub-district office of Luohu held a cultural activity on May 31 to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, which fell on June 3 this year, and to enrich the cultural life of local and foreign residents.
More than 30 people, including representatives of local residents and expats, participated in the activity at Luohu International Talents Service Center.
They ate glutinous rice dumplings and made sachets, which were typical traditions during the Dragon Boat Festival, and recited ancient Chinese poems.
The expats spoke highly of the activity for deepening their understanding of Chinese culture, and said that they were willing to help promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
