Confidence in Luohu as lockdown lifted

March 21 was the first day socio-economic life normalized in Shenzhen after the city enforced a lockdown for a week or so to cut the transmissions chains of the novel coronavirus.
With public transportation services resumed, Luohu saw the "waking-up" of its shops, office buildings, factories, streets, and construction sites.
Happy to enjoy their "long-lost" freedom, the people cherished the comeback of their everyday lives, saying that they will work hard to make up losses and do all they can to cooperate with the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work.
Business owners said that they are confident they can recover soon with their competitiveness and innovation despite difficulties and challenges.
Residents said they have a strong trust in the Luohu government. It has demonstrated the efficiency, resolve, and capacity to defeat the virus and promote the economy's recovery at the minimum cost to the people.
