Ten rest stations offered for express delivery workers in Luohu
While most residents in Shenzhen have had to slow down the pace of their lives due to the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work, express delivery workers have had to move faster than usual to ensure that supplies, food, and daily necessities reach the people in a timely manner.
To take care of the express delivery workers, the Luohu district government has opened 10 rest stations for them. The rest stations have nucleic acid test sampling sites and charging facilities for their convenience.
The 10 rest stations can be found at Cuiyin School in Dongxiao, the Junior Middle School Department of Luohu Foreign Language School in Liantang, Sungang Middle School in Qingshuihe, Luohu Middle School in Nanhu, Honghu Primary School in Sungang, Hubei Primary School in Dongmen, Anfang Primary School in Huangbei, Taining Primary School in Donghu, Shuitian Primary in Cuizhu, and Xihu Hotel in Guiyuan.
To ensure that the city’s “ferrymen” are able to get good rest, Luohu provides them with hot water, instant noodles, sanitizers, moisture-proof pads, quilts, and charging services for free.
Express delivery workers can “check in” to the designated areas with a 24-hour negative nucleic acid test result and after having their temperatures measured.
The toilets at the schools are sanitized every half an hour, according to regulations, and each classroom accommodates four express delivery workers at most.
