High-quality development of Luohu benefits all parties
Luohu has made remarkable development achievements over the past year.
Last year, the shantytown renovation project of Qingshuihe kicked off; residents of Erxianchahuadi began moving into their new homes; and the construction of the C-Future Park started. In addition, a series of new landmark buildings created a fresh look for Luohu.
Last year, Luohu attracted 50 major industrial projects with a total investment of 83.3 billion yuan ($13.14 billion) and 114 new and high-tech enterprises. These new projects and new enterprises invigorated Luohu's development momentum.
Furthermore, Luohu accelerated the construction of the Weiling Park, suspended for 22 years, deepened reforms to improve its business environment, and innovated its people-centered service model. These new services make Luohu warmer and more thoughtful.
For instance, based on its big data analysis, the government suggested relevant public services and government services to individual residents and enterprises. This transformed the previous "people-seek-services model" into the "services-seek-people model," which the government calls the "reverse operation" serving model.
At present, 23 issues in eight areas, including civil affairs and enterprise services, have been included in this model. It benefits more than 500,000 people and 533 large-scale enterprises.
Also, through the deployment of self-service terminals, the addition of special service areas, and special service windows and desks, a total of 319 kinds of government-related affairs for people and enterprises from outside Shenzhen can now be handled in Luohu. This is pertinent to people and enterprises from Shantou of Guangdong province, Guiyang of Guizhou province, Dalian of Liaoning province, and another six places. These services save residents and market entities tremendous amounts of time and energy.
