The office of the Luohu COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control headquarters issued its first notice this year on Jan. 11, restricting certain parts of the Qingshuihe sub-district as a lockdown area and area under strict control.

The No.31 and No.92 building of the Hewei village of Qingshuihe are lockdown areas, and the area under strictly control is encircled by the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway in the east, the Qingshuihe Huancang North Road in the south, Honggang North Road in the west, and Buji Yuebao Road in the north.

Virus origin-tracing and nucleic acid tests are conducted in these areas. Local governments should take all necessary measures to guarantee the people's livelihoodsin these areas.

Nucleic acid tests shall be conducted once a day for the first seven days and once on the 10th and the 14th day of the quarantine. If a new case is reported in the lockdown and control areas, the lockdown measures, including the nucleic acid test, will be reset accordingly.

The above measures will be implemented from the date of promulgation until 24:00 on Jan. 17. They will be adjusted in time according to the changing situation of the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.
