Luohu welcomes investments and enterprises from Hefei
Luohu held an investment promotional activity together with the China Resources Land Limited in Hefei, Anhui province, on Nov 12.
Officials who attended the event included Feng Jian, deputy mayor of Luohu, Guo Guilin, chief of Luohu science and technology innovation bureau, Pi Jun, deputy head of the Luohu financial service agency, and Wang Xiaoming, deputy director of Luohu enterprise services center, among others.
Representatives of the government departments of Luohu introduced the opportunities in Luohu created by the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as Luohu’s strengths in location, industries, business environment, innovation, and relevant supporting policies.
The entrepreneurs raised questions about Luohu’s strengths in innovation, supporting policies, and industrial space, and actively interacted with speakers from Luohu.
Luohu’s key industries include software and information services, digital creation, fashion, safety emergency and energy conservation, environmental protection, health, new materials, intelligent terminal, blockchain, and other emerging industries.
Speaking at the event, Feng said that Luohu would accelerate the release of high-quality industrial space, accelerate the upgrading of the business environment, and strengthen enterprise services to attract more and more high-quality science and technology enterprises to Luohu.
She also welcomed enterprises from Anhui and beyond to invest in Luohu.
According to the event, Luohu is building an innovation-driven industrial system, and the district will develop stronger economic headquarters economys and boost the development of finance, commerce, commercial services, gold and jewelry, and cultural creative industries.
Before the opening of the event, representatives of the Luohu district government visited several famous enterprises in Hefei.
Last year, the city’s gross domestic product exceeded 1 trillion yuan ($156.7 billion), ranking 20th among all cities on the Chinese mainland.
