Entrepreneur Day an opportunity to strengthen relationships between governors and entrepreneurs
Luohu held its Entrepreneur Day on Oct. 30, during which Luohu Party Chief Liu Sheng met with 140 entrepreneurial representatives from Shenzhen and Hong Kong who are conducting business in the district.
Liu encouraged the entrepreneurs to give advice and suggestions regarding the development of Luohu and the construction of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong port economic belt.
Liu said that the activity is a good opportunity to strengthen communication with entrepreneurs and foster productive relationships between the political and business sectors.
The development of a non-public sector and private enterprises largely underpins the future development of Luohu, and the district will enact more effective measures to resolve the issues that enterprises face, while fully unleashing the vitality and creativity of companies, Liu said.
Li Yong, deputy head of the United Front Work Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC, said that Shenzhen has entered a golden development stage, and he encouraged entrepreneurs to bolster confidence in the region, seize opportunities, and increase market activity to contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
According to Fan Defan, acting mayor of Luohu, the district hosts the activity to promote entrepreneurship, providing better services and creating healthier conditions for entrepreneurs to do businesses so that they and Luohu can co-exist and thrive together.
During the activity, the Luohu district government also released its new enterprise service policies covering nearly every aspect of operations.
“As an entrepreneur working in Luohu for more than 20 years, I can feel the continuous improvement of the business environment of the district, and I am full of confidence for the future development of enterprises in Luohu," said Chen Xiangfa, president of the Shenzhen Materials Holding Limited Company.
“Under the strong leadership of Luohu authorities, the company will further activate its own innovation and creative vitality to contribute to Luohu’s efforts to build itself into a model of sustainable development,” said Ye Xiangyang, president of the Shenzhen Landscape Limited Company.
Luohu recognizes the importance of optimizing its business environment, making concerted efforts to draft supportive policies as well as guaranteeing new space and platforms, and the authorities have introduced a series of powerful measures to serve enterprises, all in a bid to turn the district into a model for high-quality services geared towards work and personal life, as well as a world-class business environment.
