Luohu to further improve the government services
“I feel inspired and greater responsibility after listening to the report,” said Shi Xingzhong, a deputy to the Luohu Party congress and chief of Luohu Government Affairs Data Administrative Bureau.
Shi noted that the uplifting report delivered by Liu Sheng, chief of the Luohu District Communist Party of China (CPC) at the 8th congress of the CPC Luohu District Committee, has summarized the district’s development over the past few years and formulated brand new plans for Luohu over the next five years.
The report also identified new requirements for modern grassroots governance, smarter city and better business environment. As the bureau chief, Shi felt duty-bound to promote the construction of Luohu digital government and digital city in the next five years.
According to Shi, Luohu will prioritize modernizing the grassroots governance system and capacities, accelerate the development of integrated platforms for modern community-level governance, and reduce the burden of the grassroots units.
The district will also comprehensively upgrade big data apps. Currently, Luohu Government Affairs Data Administrative Bureau has established a big data system with data from 39 government departments and the key next is to promote the operation of the data apps, Shi explained.
Luohu is determined to make innovations regarding government services as well. For example, artificial intelligence technology and big data will be used to support enterprises and serve the ordinary people. The service concept and mode will be innovated to offer more convenient and satisfying government services to the businesses and residents in the district.
