The 8th Luohu Party congress concluded
The 8th congress of the Luohu District Communist Party of China (CPC) concluded on Oct. 21.
The congress, presided over by Luohu Party chief Liu Sheng, elected the 8th CPC Luohu District Committee and the 8th Commission for Discipline Inspection.
The conference fully summarized the important achievements and valuable experience of the district since the 7th Party congress, deeply analyzed the current situation and opportunities facing Luohu, and clearly identified the overall requirements and key task of the district for the next five years.
According to the meeting, Luohu will continuously strive to build itself into an all-embracing hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and become a pilot zone of sustainable development and socialist modernization.
The congress highly commended the 7th CPC Luohu District Committee for its work in promoting high-quality economic growth, renovating the urban areas, improving residents’ livelihoods, strengthening Party building and fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic. It also gave full recognition to the 7th Commission for Discipline Inspection’s contribution to anti-corruption endeavors.
In the future, Luohu will upgrade services, enhance its positions as transportation, communication and consumption hubs and secure breakthrough development, Liu emphasized.
Liu called on the Party members and officers of Luohu to shoulder responsibilities to deliver real benefits to the residents of the district.
