CICIF: Hong Kong and Macao creative and cultural industries exhibitions
The exhibition hall of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the 17th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair has attracted many visitors.
The GBA exhibition hall covers an area of 20,000 square meters.
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has participated in the fair for 14 consecutive years since the fourth session in 2008. This year’s CICIF Hong Kong creativity pavilion features Hong Kong’s creative design, allowing visitors to understand the advantages of Hong Kong’s design and creative industries in the development of the Greater Bay Area.
According to the person in charge of the Hong Kong exhibition, by combining visual design with video content, the Hong Kong creativity pavilion provides visitors with an in-depth understanding of the innovative ideas of Hong Kong designers and their works from various perspectives as well as how designers can apply diverse, innovative thinking to meet market needs and fully integrate them into the common development and construction of the Greater Bay Area.
Since 2006, the Macao Special Administrative Region has participated in the fair every year.
Ten cultural and creative brands from Macao participated in the exhibition this year. The Macao creative pavilion covers creative design, digital media, animation, and other related fields.
According to the person in charge of Macao’s exhibition at the fair, the SAR government intends to lead Macao’s cultural and creative products and services to “go global,” create development opportunities for the cultural and entrepreneurial community, show Macao’s diverse cultural image creativity, and promote the integrated development of cultural and creative sectors in the Greater Bay Area.
With Macao’s unique multicultural, open, and inclusive development environment, the SAR government hopes to learn more about the mainland market and try to find suitable merchants to cooperate with at the exhibition in a bid to enter the mainland market through online sales.
In addition to the Hong Kong creativity pavilion and the Macao creativity pavilion, the Greater Bay Area pavilion highlights the innovative development achievements of digital culture, creative design, and cultural tourism in the region, promoting the coordinated development of cultural industries.
