Civil servant training system improved with Luohu characteristics
On the afternoon of Sept. 9, Luohu held a meeting to stress the importance of executing the district’s “soul casting” project and strengthening theoretical study. The meeting was presided over by Luo Yude, secretary of the Luohu District Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The meeting called for the complete implementation of the projects which ensure that civil servant training systems follow the highest degree of professionalism and remain pertinent to the practical needs of their work.
The meeting urged all civil servants and Party members to focus on building Luohu into an “all-embracing hub of the Greater Bay Area,” attracting talent and investment to better serve the people.
The district aims to build a civil servant education and training system with Luohu characteristics by focusing on the cultivation of ideals, beliefs and morality, and enhancing civil servants’ scientific thinking, pursuits of innovative development, strategic foresight, and development of an international view.
The meeting also stressed the importance of caring for officials and strengthening work incentives. Luohu firmly believes that civil servants should put what they learn into practice, and a fault-tolerant and fix-fault mechanism should be established to encourage young cadres with a pioneering spirit who want to blaze new trails and take on practical responsibilities under the premise of abiding by rules and discipline.
