The Shenzhen Tax Service is exploring the use of data-driven technologies to make tax collection and tax-related services more convenient and customized.
In Luohu District, the tax bureau is using big data technology to help growing businesses manage a larger volume of invoices as companies expand, by minimizing the number of trips those business owners have to make to the tax office every month.
Likewise, the Luohu Tax Bureau proactively contacted 126 companies that were screened using big-data analysis, to better understand their tax-related service needs. Company representatives have spoken highly of the tax bureau’s efforts to reach out and improve its methods.  
The Shenzhen Tax Service said it will continue to strengthen reforms on tax collection and tax-related services by taking advantage of big-data technology, effectively making it easier for everyone to pay their taxes and access relevant services.
