Luohu fortifies its defense lines against COVID-19
Luohu Party Chief Luo Yude made an inspection tour of the district’s “four defense lines” against the COVID-19 recently.
Other senior officials representing the district’s authorities, including Lai Wu, Lai Jianhua and Mi Yong, also took part in the tour.
Luo and other officials visited Luohu Village near the Shenzhen Railway Station to ensure that all pandemic prevention and control measures have been established and that all necessary supplies for the anti-pandemic work are sufficiently stocked and properly stored.
Luo said the neighborhood’s closed-circuit management must be strictly observed such that all visitors can be screened, and all sanitization work, nucleic acid tests and inoculations can be efficiently administered. He added that the first line of defense against the virus is in public awareness of the communities.
The officials also visited Cuiyuan Dongxiao Middle School, which has been designated as a vaccination site for the minors aged 12-17. Luo pointed out that inoculation efforts require the participation of the entire community, and all relevant departments should try their best to make the inoculation work proceed smoothly.
The officials then visited Wenjindu Port, which connects Shenzhen and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and inquired about the management of truck drivers coming to the port. Luo stressed that the nucleic acid tests and relevant health monitoring measures must be strictly enforced to plug all possible loopholes, and all medical waste must be properly disposed of to guarantee the port doesn’t hinder pandemic prevention and control work.
