Luohu responds to COVID-19 resurgence promptly
In its response to resurgence of COVID-19 in May and June, Luohu has created new work methods to take the most effective epidemic prevention and control measures.
It has applied some new technologies in that process to enhance efficiency. All frontline workers stick to their posts in the fight against the virus. Luohu has also provided Yantian, Longgang and Bao’an districts with personnel to aid their epidemic prevention and control work.
Luohu has done the quarantine work for inbound visitors on more than 200 international flights independently. The district has implemented strict management measures at quarantine sites to avoid them becoming loopholes.
Since late May, Luohu has carried out two rounds of nucleic acid tests for all local residents and several rounds of tests for those working in key posts. As of July 13, the Luohu Hospital Group had tested 6,722,735 samples, its daily record being 517, 957 samples.
Luohu has mobilized companies, communities and other parties to play an active role to support COVID-19 vaccine inoculations. As of July 2, a total of 977,373 people had taken one or two jabs in the district.
With the lessons learned since the outbreak, Luohu will continue to weave tightly its epidemic prevention and control network to safeguard people’s lives.
