Luohu seeks improved pre-school education through cooperation
The Luohu district education bureau and eight Shenzhen government-run kindergartens signed a cooperation agreement on July 21.
This was followed by the Shenzhen Education Bureau holding a meeting on its survey of pre-school education in Luohu.
Wang Shuifa, deputy chief of the Shenzhen Education Bureau, Song Qiang, deputy head of the Luohu district government, along with persons in charge of pre-school education in Luohu, and principals of eight government-run kindergartens in Shenzhen attended the meeting.
Yin Gang, chief of the Luohu district education bureau, presided over the meeting that focused on a theme of how to run good kindergartens for the people.
According to the cooperation agreement, the Shenzhen government-run kindergartens will help improve Luohu’s management of its pre-school education sector.
According to Yin Gang, the cooperation has already been underway for about a year, and the signing of the cooperation agreement was designed to work together to further enhance the quality of Luohu’s pre-school education.
Luohu has entrusted 10 public kindergartens to the management of the eight aforementioned kindergartens of Shenzhen. In future, Yin said Luohu would deepen its reform to provide high-quality education to local residents to make the district a model in pre-school education in the city.
Wang Shuifa spoke highly of Luohu’s pre-school education, and hoped that the district could make the best use of what it already had to found more quality kindergartens, provide experience of collective development of kindergartens and schools, and improve the quality of principals and teachers.
Yin Gang said Luohu would do what it could to translate the three hopes into realities, continue to learn from the city government-run kindergartens in terms of their effective management experience and advanced thoughts and concepts of running schools, and adhere to the collective development of education so as to promote balanced development.
Meeting attendants also talked about details of work on curriculum provision, team management and education quality.
