Luohu organizes activities marking CPC centenary
An activity marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), organized by the CPC Luohu District Committee, was held in the fountain plaza of the KingKey 100 on June 29.
Lv Manni, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Luohu District Committee and head of its publicity department, attended the event along with relevant officials of the publicity department and the organization department of the CPC Luohu District Committee, and the Guiyuan sub-district office, as well as representatives of local residents, CPC members and enterprises.
The activity started with a sand painting video clip introducing the development history of the CPC over the past 100 years, and telling the story of how it developed into world’s largest ruling Marxist party, leading China’s development from a backward agricultural country to become the world’s second-largest economy.
Attendees also visited an exhibition themed on the construction of all-embracing hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The most eye-catching exhibits are a group of 21 documentary photos presenting Luohu’s rise as the first district set up in Shenzhen.
Inspired by what they had seen, participants said they would make their due contribution to building Luohu into an all-embracing hub of the Greater Bay Area.
