City reports two locally confirmed COVID-19 cases
On June 18, Shenzhen reported two locally confirmed COVID-19 cases, one imported confirmed COVID-19 case, and one imported asymptomatic case of COVID-19 yesterday.
The two confirmed cases are a 35-year-old man surnamed Xiao and a 21-year-old woman surnamed Zhu.
Xiao works for a company at the Block A of Hangtian Keji Square at the Houhai area in Nanshan District and lives at the Baiyueshangcheng estate in Nancheng District of Dongguan, a city neighboring Shenzhen. He was diagnosed as a normal case of COVID-19.
Zhu works at a restaurant at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport and lives at the Xinlantian Apartment located at No.71 Xiashiwei Commercial and Residential Street, Fuyong Subdistrict, Bao’an District. She was diagnosed as a mild case of COVID-19.
Currently, the patients have been transferred to the emergency ward of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Both of them are in stable condition.
The imported confirmed case is a male of Chinese nationality. He came to Shenzhen from South Africa and was quarantined upon arrival. The patient has been transferred to the emergency ward of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and is in stable condition.
The imported asymptomatic case is a male of Chinese nationality. He came to Shenzhen from Kenya and was quarantined upon arrival. The patient has been transferred to the emergency ward of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and is in stable condition.
