The 388-meter-high Citymark tower in Sungang, Luohu district, was topped off as scheduled on May 31, confirming construction of the future landmark building is nearly complete.
The five towers of the Citymark Center cover an area of 9,202 square meters, and its total construction area is about 180,000 square meters. That it took less than one-and-a-half years for the tower to be topped off shows the efficiency of the constructors applying advanced building technology and equipment.
With the addition of close cooperation with the government and other relevant parties, it only took about four days to build one floor.
The building is located in the core zone of the Hongling financial industrial belt, which covers an area of 3.6 square kilometers and is home to a large number of financial agencies and corporation headquarters from home and abroad.
A batch of world-famous architects and equipment and material manufacturers from home and abroad have been involved in the design and decoration of the building.
The Citymark Center project is progressing at full speed and is expected to be fully completed in 2022. By then it will become a new landmark structure of Luohu, and the conclusion of the project will accelerate the overall urban renovation project in Sungang.
