A seminar on physical education and application of artificial intelligence was held at Jintian Primary School in Shenzhen on April 19.

The activity was hosted by the Luohu education bureau. Its chief, Yin Gang, Wu Xiaofeng, Party chief of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, and Guo Yuzhu, director of the Luohu Education Science Institute, attended, along with education experts, scholars and technicians from Hunan and Guangdong provinces and Beijing.

Participants shared their views on the reform of physical education, and discussed about how to make the PE classes smarter with AI technology.

They agreed that schools should require students to strengthen their physical exercises on and off campus, and the activity lasting at least one hour per day.

Many schools of the Jintian education group of Shenzhen exhibited their achievements and awards in physical education before the seminar started. Jintian Primary School specializes in soccer training, and it is a national model in that regard.
