It was stressed that Party members should seriously study the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the launch ceremony of the campaign, attentively implement the arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee, and its provincial and municipal committees, drawing lessons from Party history to tackle current challenges.
Party members were told they should equip themselves with the latest achievements in Party theoretical innovation and use theories to guide practice.
Efforts should be made to deliver services to the people and resolve their difficulties. The instruction called for combining Party history learning with summing up experience and solving practical problems for the people.
Party members shall carry forward the traditions from revolutionary times, maintain the brave spirit of the revolutionaries, and march toward a brand-new journey.
All Party members should take a clear-cut political stand, safeguard the Party's unity and solidarity, and closely follow the CPC Central Committee in terms of the thinking, political stance and actions, it noted.
Highlighting the importance of innovation in methods and means, the meeting suggested that diverse study programs be launched to make the campaign a success, which would inject great impetus to the high-quality development of Luohu.
Founded in 1921, the CPC has grown into the world's biggest Marxist ruling party. It has been in power for over 70 years in the world's largest socialist country with 1.4 billion population.
