About 180,000 students and teachers from 81 schools and 139 kindergartens returned to classes that day, all possessing a green health code.
During the inspection tour of Cuiyuan Dongxiao Middle School and Luoling Foreign Languages Experimental School, Luo asked school principles to give top priority to school security and the health of students and teachers.
He stressed that all schools should establish an emergency response system, strengthen communication with students, enhancing their sense of security, and promoting their diverse development.
Luo pledged the district would spare no effort in improving its overall education level, releasing more quality-resources, and building it into a strong modern district in the education field.
It was reported that before the semester started, the district authorities evaluated the epidemic prevention and control work of all its schools and kindergartens, provided epidemic prevention training to school staff, and particularly launched a training program for school doctors.
About 92 school buses have been checked for any security loopholes. Work related to food security and students' mental health were also conducted.
