Luohu officials pay comfort visits to disadvantaged groups before Spring Festival
On the afternoon of Feb. 5, Luohu officials offer comfort to CPC members living in poverty, families of veterans and martyrs entitled to special government subsidies, as well as medical and community workers fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic on the frontline.
On the afternoon of Feb. 5, Luohu Party chief Luo Yude, and Liu Zhiyong, head of the Luohu district government, led their respective teams to offer comfort to CPC members living in poverty, families of veterans and martyrs entitled to special government subsidies, as well as medical and community workers fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic on the frontline.
Luo Yude called at the home of Huang Jishi, a combat hero, and the home of Gao Shengtian, a low-income CPC member, talking with them cordially, bringing them New Year money packets and gifts with Lunar New Year wishes.
Luo Yude showed concern about the health and conditions of them and their family members, advising them to take care of themselves and remain optimistic.
Luo has also instructed relevant departments to care more about their lives and provide thoughtful services.

Liu Zhiyong and the officials in his team paid visits to homes of Lu Yuecun, who lives on subsistence allowances, and Li Dong Ya, a CPC member living in poverty.
Liu Zhiyong said Luohu is a big family. Whenever small families face difficulties, the big family should offer its help, he stressed.
Liu encouraged his hosts to face life with healthy and positive mentality. He instructed civil servants in relevant sub-district offices to help such people to resolve their practical living difficulties, and bear the people's needs in their hearts.
After these visits, Luo Yude and Liu Zhiyong led their teams to hotels designated to be quarantine spots in the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work. The officials expressed their gratitude to the people, and reminded them of the importance of self-protection while serving the public.
