On July 22, Luohu treasury payment center held a publicity activity to promote the use of digital invoices.
The financial staff of relevant government departments and public institutions and 60 suppliers attended the event; financial staff from other 400 government suppliers and relevant departments watched the event online.
During the activity, Lin Xing, a civil servant of the Luohu taxation bureau, and Xiao Wenlong, a civil servant with the Luohu treasury payment center, introduced the usage and operation of the digital invoice system, showing how convenient and safe it is. They also responded to questions from the people.
Yang Xichun, a civil servant of the Luohu taxation bureau, said that all digital invoices can be checked, tested and traced, which means the bureau can realize effective supervision over the whole procedure related to the invoice.
The use of a digital invoice is an important step in Luohu’s digital financial and smart government reform to promote the government’s digital payment, said Zhang Zhongping, director of the Luohu treasury payment center.
It saves time and energy and improves payment efficiency so that the suppliers can get their funds more quickly. This is a win-win reform and entails joint effort with all parties, Zhang said.
Wen Fengying, a customer service department manager of the Shenzhen Human Capital Group, said that the company has settled accounts with 98 government departments and public institutions in Luohu using digital invoices since late April.
She said that the company benefits tremendously from it, as digital invoices are safely and easily stored and monitored, and the company receives payment more quickly.
