All exam takers and invigilators had to have their temperature checked before entering the exam sites.

Parents and teachers were seen waiting outside exam sites, some wearing red clothes, meaning good luck in local culture.
Some volunteers in red waistcoats offered services to the candidates at the exam sites, providing them with stationery, an umbrella, tissues and water in case of need.
The Market Supervision and Regulation Bureau of Luohu conducted sample tests of 87 restaurants near the exam sites, and all the samples were found to qualify.

The fire fighting and rescue brigade of Luohu checked five exam sites on July 3-6, and found 20 places considered to pose a hidden danger, all of which were immediately rectified.
On July 7, the Education Bureau of Luohu checked the pandemic control efforts of the five exam sites together with the district’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Healthcare Security Bureau.
The district’s Bureau of Transport instructed all road-related construction projects to suspend work during the exam to avoid any noise disturbance.
The Luohu traffic police conducted temporary traffic control and opened temporary parking lots and “green channels” for vehicles being used for an exam-related purpose. Traffic police officers also helped candidates stuck in traffic jams to reach the exam sites on time.
The Government Affairs Data Administrative Bureau of Luohu closely coordinated with three major telecommunication operators to ensure the stability of their networks in all units related to the exam.
