Luohu promotes Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao logistics integration
Shenzhen’s Luohu district unveiled its dedicated logistics building and launched the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Logistics Integration Zone” initiative on Monday. The event marked a milestone with multiple corporate agreements aimed at fostering internationalization, intensification, and agglomeration within the freight forwarding and logistics industries.
According to a representative from the Guiyuan sub-district, the modern logistics building has a dual purpose: to provide logistics enterprises with a platform for communication, business support, and resource integration, while also enhancing its role in driving the broader development of the local logistics industry cluster. This initiative is expected to accelerate advancements along the industrial chain.
Currently, the building is home to 36 freight forwarding and logistics enterprises. Future plans involve leveraging business-to-business partnerships and nurturing internal and external resources to attract more high-quality businesses and upstream and downstream enterprises.
At the event, the Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association and the Shenzhen International Freight Forwarding Association announced the establishment of a liaison office at Honglong Century Plaza. They also signed a strategic partnership with Guangdong-Hong Kong Greater Bay Area Holdings Limited and inked intent agreements with four companies, including Hong Kong-based Zhitong Computer Co., Ltd.
“We value Guiyuan’s resource advantages in Luohu and have decided to relocate our main business operations from Hong Kong to Luohu,” said Lyu Jiaqi from Zhitong Computer. Lyu highlighted the efficient work and attentive services provided by Shenzhen and Luohu authorities, which enabled their company to settle in quickly and opened new opportunities for business growth.
