Luohu libraries celebrate 2024 Luohu Shenzhen-Hong Kong Culture Month

To welcome the upcoming 2024 "Luohu Shenzhen-Hong Kong Culture Month," Luohu has planned themed activities centered on Shenzhen-Hong Kong cultural exchange, aiming to let citizens experience the unique cultural charms of both cities.
On July 20, the "Tutu‘s Story" themed event was held at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Children's Library. Through picture books, children learned about Hong Kong's famous landmarks, customs, and unique cuisine, discovering the distinct Hong Kong culture. This story session has not only deepened the children's understanding of Hong Kong but also built a cultural bridge between Guangdong and Hong Kong, leading young readers to further appreciate the vibrant and diverse culture of Hong Kong.
On Aug. 3, the "Watercolor Greater Bay Area" themed event took place at the You (leisure) · Library. Readers were encouraged to explore the charm of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) from their own perspectives, using their paintbrushes to depict their most beautiful watercolor visions of the Bay Area.
This event has provided residents of both Shenzhen and Hong Kong with a platform to showcase their talents and engage in cultural exchange. It guided readers through a wonderful journey of colors, inspiring imagination and exploration, and allowing them to experience the joy of watercolor creation. Through art, the event has vividly showcased the rich cultural images of the GBA.
