On July 2, the "Joint Efforts for a Shared Future" cultural performance celebrating the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China was held at the Asia Television Limited studio in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong.
During the event, the Shenzhen Luohu District Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Hong Kong New Territories Association of Societies signed an exchange and cooperation agreement. This signing aims to strengthen cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, promote the sharing of high-quality cultural and artistic resources, and enhance the long-term, refined, and international level of cultural and artistic cooperation. The two sides also exchanged intangible cultural heritage handmade souvenirs, embodying the wisdom and achievements of Chinese civilization, to carry forward and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture.
The performance featured four captivating chapters: "Blossoming Bauhinia," "Hand in Hand," "Renewal," and "Creating a Splendid Chapter Together." The event commenced with grand Chinese orchestral performances of "March of the Elephant King" and "A Laugh in the Sea." This was followed by a variety of programs, including Peking opera, dance, and solo singing, providing a visual and auditory feast for the audience. Performances such as diabolo, acrobatics, and magic acts further heightened the event's atmosphere. The dance "Pearl of the Orient," performed by dance troupes from both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, showcased the deep friendship and close cooperation between the two regions.
At the event, the first AI-produced promotional film of Luohu District, "City of Dreams," was also unveiled. Using cutting-edge AI image and video generation technology, the film ingeniously blends Luohu's historical changes with its future vision, presenting an engaging and surprising view of the district.
In the future, Luohu District will continue to promote extensive, in-depth, and high-level cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, further fostering cultural and artistic exchanges between the two regions.
