The 2024 National Energy Efficiency Promotion Week will be held from May 13-19. Over the years, Luohu has made continuous efforts in green and low-carbon development.

Luohu, the first district in Shenzhen to earn the dual titles of "Beautiful Ecological and Livable City" and "Beautiful City Lucid Water and Lush Mountains," boasts a unique urban landscape with mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, and natural vegetation.

With over 50% of its area designated as ecological protection zones, the district has 15 municipal parks, 96 community parks, and a 64.6% urban green coverage rate, exceeding Shenzhen's average. Furthermore, Luohu's air quality excellent rate stands at 97.8%, an increase of 3.8 percentage points year-on-year.

Luohu upholds the green development philosophy through diverse low-carbon demonstration projects, including green buildings, green infrastructure, and near-zero carbon projects.
