Shenzhen will build the Shenzhen (Luohu) e-CNY Application Ecosystem Demonstration Zone in its Luohu district.
Shenzhen will adopt a city-district collaborative model to jointly build the Demonstration Zone. It has established an e-CNY application ecosystem cooperation platform led by the Shenzhen branches of four major state-owned banks. Luohu officially released the “Measures on the High-Quality Construction of the e-CNY Application Ecosystem Demonstration Zone” to provide policy support.
China’s first e-CNY industrial park was also inaugurated in Shenzhen, with the first batch of enterprises intending to enter the park signing contracts.
