The Hong Kong and Macao Talent Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion Conference commenced in Luohu district on Sept. 23. Over a hundred young job seekers attended the event to explore potential careers.

The conference welcomed more than 70 representatives from Hong Kong and Macao, as well as key enterprises, industry associations, and talent representatives from Luohu. Leveraging the weekend influx of Hong Kong and Macao youth entering Luohu Port, the event aimed to attract these individuals to join local college graduates in applying for jobs, showcasing the economic opportunities of the district.

Luohu has collaborated with renowned local enterprises and institutions to offer high-quality employment opportunities to Hong Kong youth, fostering collaboration between talents from both regions to build the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). A total of 30 esteemed enterprises and institutions conducted on-site promotions, presenting over 1,500 job positions.

Aspiring to establish itself as a talent hub for the GBA, Luohu will implement various measures to enhance its services, cultivate a favorable environment for employment, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange, and provide more opportunities and conveniences for Hong Kong and Macao youth seeking employment and starting businesses in the district.
