On Aug. 22, Chaozhou and Luohu district jointly launched the “Chaozhou-Luohu Innovation Island,” a business hub operating under the enclave economy project, and welcomed the arrival of the scheme’s first group of eight enterprises.

The hub will serve as a remarkable economic experiment that will primarily promote the synchronized development of industries across regions. It will also help to optimize innovations through a predefined cooperation and supervision mechanism, catering to regional demands under long-term strategies.

The inauguration of the “Chaozhou-Luohu Innovation Island” reveals the notable elevation of the area’s regional development capabilities, achieving a heightened synergistic effect. Furthermore, it represents the concrete implementation of the province-wide initiative to foster high-quality development in rural areas.
