Forum promotes regional integrated tourism development
The Rising Tide Bay Area Urban Tourism Forum was held in Luohu on Aug 17.
More than 400 representatives from tourism associations, cultural tourism enterprises, foreign tourism bureaus in China, travel agencies, and tourism technology enterprises, including some cultural tourism experts, from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) took part in the event.
At the forum, three cultural tourism industrial parks signed cooperation agreements with 16 enterprises that intend to move into the parks.
An alliance of cultural tourism associations in the GBA was also founded during the event to promote the integrated development of the area and build it into a world-class cultural and tourism hub.
At present, the Luohu government is planning the development path of its tourism industry and advancing relevant projects. It is also attempting to attract tourism enterprises to build their headquarters in the district, as well as make Luohu a tourism and consumption center in the GBA.
