Luohu vows to shorten approval process for construction projects
To further improve the business environment in Luohu and attract more investments and projects to the district, the Luohu district government recently rolled out a new regulation to accelerate the approval process of important construction projects.
The district government vowed to shorten the “waiting time” for industrial projects and government-funded projects. The key, they claim, is to carry out technological examinations and reviews in advance so as to save the waiting time. After these necessary review procedures are finished, the project planning permits, construction permits, and other approval documents required for the commencement of construction projects will be issued within three working days after the completion of the land transfer contract is signed.
According to the district government, the implementation measures are mainly applicable to important industrial construction projects, transportation projects, and government-funded projects. However, they don't apply to projects involving risks, such as oil and gas depots and long-distance pipelines. Neither are they applicable to major confidential projects that need to be submitted to higher authorities for approval in the fields of transportation, water conservancy, and energy.
