Shenzhen-Hong Kong Culture Month concludes successfully in Luohu
The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Culture Month activity concluded on the afternoon of Aug 14.
Organized by the Luohu district government starting July 12, the activity consisted of 35 events across the district to promote consumption and economic growth.
Statistics show that during the activity, the customs clearance flow of Luohu's three major ports reached 5.64 million, an increase of 11.44% over the same period last month. This figure included 4.2 million Hong Kong passengers, accounting for about 74.37% of the total flow.
In addition, almost all major shopping centers saw a marked surge in their customer flow and sales revenue. A total of 28 restaurants in Luohu were evaluated as being the most popular during the event.
The Luohu Shenzhen-Hong Kong In-depth Integrated Development Expert Advisory Committee was also established simultaneously. The committee will provide consultation to Luohu on planning, designs, schemes, policy analysis, and major projects related to Hong Kong.
