Shenzhen seeks public input on Dawutong’s image
To enhance the visibility and promotion of Dawutong Nature Reserve, Shenzhen started soliciting suggestions from the public on its image on Aug. 1. The best design will be rewarded with 50,000 yuan ($6,910).
Situated in the center of Shenzhen and spanning 50 square kilometers, Dawutong serves not only as the green lung of Luohu district but also as a core part of the Wutong Hill-Honghua Ridge ecological corridor connecting to Hong Kong’s Robin’s Nest Country Park.
The reserve's trails, winding through rivers, valleys and ridges, are constructed in harmony with the natural landscape. They offer visitors an immersive experience with nature and serve as ideal routes for sightseers, hikers and joggers.
