The Luohu district government recently released the plan for its Qingshuihe Headquarters New City.
The Qingshuihe Headquarters New City is a core aera of Luohu’s Sungang-Qingshuihe zone as well as one of Shenzhen’s 21 key development zones.
It is also an important pivot of the science and technology innovation corridor connecting Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The Shenzhen municipal government plans to build the Qingshuihe Headquarters New City as a conglomeration zone for enterprise headquarters in the digital economy sector and a booster of the platform, intelligent, and digital economies.
In all, the Qingshuihe Headquarters New City is expected to become a new engine driving the growth of the city’s economy and will cover an area of 3.5 square kilometers. In the next five years, it will provide nearly 1 million square meters of industrial space. Its annual production output is projected to exceed 50 billion yuan ($6.97 billion).
