Luohu’s progress in integrated education recognized
The Binhe Primary School of Luohu recently won the provincial-level title of model school for students studying on a temporary basis for its exemplary performance.
It is the only school in Luohu to obtain the title during a symposium held by the the Guangdong provincial education authorities for schools to exchange experiences in the field of integrated education.
Taking Binhe Primary School as an example, Chen Libin, deputy director of the Special Education Resource Center in Luohu, delivered a speech at the symposium, introducing how the district has enhanced the education quality of these students by promoting integrated education.
In recent years, the Luohu education bureau has markedly improved the quality of the integrated education of its schools in the district by optimizing resource allocation. A total of 172 teachers in the district’s kindergartens and primary and middle schools volunteered to teach these students, effectively easing the shortage of teachers.
In the future, according to Chen, Luohu will continue to mobilize and rationalize the use of education resources in the district to bring more tangible benefits to these students.
