The 2023 China Smart Home Technology Ecology & Consumption Scene Conference was held in Luohu, Shenzhen, on May 31.
The event was themed "promoting upgrading of consumption and embracing smart life" and was co-hosted by the Shenzhen Home Decoration Industry Association and China Smart Home Industry Alliance.
Thirty guests from the industry had extensive discussions on topics related to technology integration, product innovation, and platform solutions, as well as shared their experiences in the field.
The conference demonstrated the development and innovation trends in the smart home industry in 2023.
Luohu’s Deputy Head Xiao Jiarui noted at the conference that Luohu has taken the promotion of high-quality development as the main theme of its work over recent years. As such, it has focused on developing advantageous industries such as finance, commerce and trade, and modern services, building new industries, and developing new growth engines. In addition, with the service economy, platform economy, and digital economy as the main economic pillars, Luohu is attempting to form an urban modern industrial system holding key positions in industrial and value chains.
Zhao Yuanshu, deputy director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Luohu, introduced the district’s supporting policies to advance the high-quality development of commerce and trade as well as e-commerce.
She said that Luohu will build a major consumption block themed home culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, expand the scale of the smart home industry, boost relevant consumption, and promote industrial integration.
In terms of smart home industry innovation, Shenzhen has been at the forefront. Relying on its mature supply chain system, talent matrix, and innovative market, the city has cultivated many leading enterprises in the smart home industry and has become an important force in the sector.
