Luohu recently organized workshops for 42 talents and professionals at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Soochow University to deepen their understanding of current national conditions. It is hoped that thus will help them to better contribute to the high-quality development of the district.

The workshops consisted of lectures and symposiums at the two universities and fact-finding inspection tours in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, and Luohu.

The courses were on China’s governance, economy, and diplomacy. The participants of the workshops visited enterprises and industrial parks in Suzhou and Luohu to better understand the opportunities and challenges related to the latest industrial and technological developments.

The participants spoke highly of the workshops, saying that they benefited a lot from them in knowledge, awareness, and experience.
