A collective opening ceremony for all Shenzhen projects that are due to launch in December was organized at Luohu North Railway Station, which is currently under construction, on Dec. 10.
A total of 247 projects will kick off this month with a total investment of 377.53 billion yuan ($54.14 billion), among which 22.24 billion yuan will be invested this month.
Of these projects, 21 are located in Luohu, with a total investment of 54.83 billion yuan, and 2.36 billion yuan will be invested this year.
According to Head of Luohu district Fan Defan, the district has released 4.46 million square meters of industrial space in the past five years, and it will free up another 2 million square meters over the next two years.
