Luohu unveils zone to promote Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development
On Nov. 24, Luohu introduced a 1-million-square-meter development zone for Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development projects.
The zone will promote the cross-border economy and in-depth cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in trade and consumption, business services, specialized financial and scientific and technological services. The zone is intended to be developed into a Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation zone for upgrading modern trade and commerce.
About 40,000 Hong Kong residents live in Luohu, and about 6,400 enterprises funded by capital from Hong Kong operate in the district, accounting for 90% of enterprises financed by capital from overseas.
