Family service center in Luohu boosts integrated development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong
The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Family Service Centre was officially unveiled at the Luohu District Women and Children's Activity Centre on the afternoon of Nov. 15.
After its opening, the new center unveiled a "1+N" plan for Shenzhen-Hong Kong family services.
With a total construction area of 4,800 square meters and a total investment of 29.32 million yuan (US$4.14 million), the new center provides social services specialized for Hong Kong people, including psychological consultation, entrepreneurial space and family mediation.
The person in charge of the center pointed out that its establishment represents an innovative measure to strengthen cooperation and closer ties between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
In the future, it aims to achieve quality improvement by extending services to more areas and build itself into an important platform to promote the development of families in the two cities.
