Luohu displays achievements in emerging industries development at hi-tech fair
Luohu demonstrates its achievements in areas of big health, safety, energy saving, software and information services at the 24th China Hi-tech Fair from Nov. 15-19 in Shenzhen.
With 17 enterprises from Luohu taking part in the national high-tech fair this year, which represent the fruits of its efforts to promote the development of modern industrial clusters, Luohu is displaying the district's strengths and achievements in the development of high and new technologies and advanced manufacturing industries.
After the municipal authorities of Shenzhen proposed to construct "20+8" emerging industries and future industrial clusters, Luohu unveiled its own "7+1" industrial cluster development plan, which includes software and information services, intelligent terminals, digital creativity, modern fashion, new materials, big health, safety, energy conservation and environmental protection, and blockchain as the one future industry. The district has been making all-out efforts to promote its growth.
Over the first three quarters this year, the strategic emerging industries in Luohu have demonstrated a good development momentum. The number of companies in emerging strategic industries increased from 606 in 2021 to 732 in the third quarter of 2022.
By the end of the first half of this year, the operating revenue of internet and related services was 958 million yuan ($136 million), up 37.7% year on year, and the revenue of software and information technology services was 4.43 billion yuan, up 21.9% year on year.
