Yin Gang, head of Luohu Education Bureau, introduced Luohu's experience of its preschool education reform at the Preschool Education Evaluation Committee's annual meeting on Nov. 12-13.

Luohu has explored workable ways to monitor and evaluate preschool education.

Since its inception  preschool education quality monitoring reform was launched in 2018. The monitoring system has since achieved full coverage of local kindergartens. The system has 20 monitoring indexes, and both the kindergartens and the district education bureau departments take part in the process and grading of the effects of education.

The results are stored and analyzed on unified platforms to form separate files for each kindergarten.

The experience of Luohu in this regard also offers valuable lessons to other places in Guangdong province. It stresses a problem-oriented approach, forming a to-do list, coordinating different departments, being project-driven and performing whole-process rectification.
